| There have been numerous instructional
efforts to incorporate Information Competence or
Information Literary on WWW. Many of these are listed
under WWW Information Competence Sites. Most of these
fine efforts are primarily text-based sites describing in
detail the various aspects of Information Competence. This project differs in that both the descriptive and workbook sections are going to rely heavily on graphics, images, sample pages, excerpts from full-text sources, citations, and other relevant materials. Our goal is to provide a realistic learning environment where students can find, evaluate, organize, and present their materials in a manner to which they can relate. We have developed a sample section of one module using this format. (under construction). |
